Korea....

now is the 26th sept.
marked off my 1 month of stay in korea..

in this 1 month..
i saw a lot of stuffs... tried alot.. walked alot
completely new culture.. new language.. new people.. new air... new weather..
n more..

the joy of life...
the kind of live life to the fullest spirit..
the type of ignore wat others see in you


they dun care abt how u look at them.. they r behaving like themselves...
when they are happy.. they laugh like mad, talk so loudly until u can hear them from the end of the other side of the road.
when the girlfriends is angry.. they hit their boyfriends
when the couples feel love, they hug and kiss, no matter is at the subway station or school.
when the boyfriends wanna b sweet, they buy flower n wait for their babies outside the station.
they show their love off... they give couple tee as presents.
they go to han river to date.
they start the day early, end the day late.
they use drinking to end the day off... drink drank drunk n get wasted... end up sleepin on the pathway.
next day... the whole life cycle goes on.
they wun get angry when u decided not to buy their stuffs
when u try to bargain.. they will try and smile at you
when u tell them that their food is nice, they smile n give you more kimchi.
when u look lost, they went to u and give u a helping hand willingly.
although they cant speak eng, they try to talk to u.



born to be a city kids..
everyday life is scary.. even my walkin speed is 2 steps per second.
but here... i learn to slow down my pace...
i didnt listen to mp3 when walking..
i listen and look around...
carrying my map... and my lousy sense of direction head
and my friends...
just walk..
walk on n on...

i saw aunties and uncles sitting outside their shops... on the big big table... sharing the same blanket to cover themselves.. eating kimchi... jiajiangmee.. bibimba...
chatting as if they gt the whole earth of time...
i saw old traditional korea houses.. Habok. real nice..
their little old shops... under those low low shop houses. like wat u can c in drama

wat i like abt here is...
they gt their city image, yet keepin their traditional history.. culture..
and their buildings are real nice...
which are completely diff from wat i can c from sg... sg is wat? durian house? ion? or HDB?
i am such a little frog being shut off under a small island.

i will onli be here for a few months..
i try to go as far as i can..
this is wat different from holiday trip...
my exchange here, gave me longer time to slowly c and dig out every little corners...





u ppl have too good life in sg...
including myself too =)

home is still home..

2 weekends ago..

the few of us decided to run away from home for a night...
all due to the 1am curfew thing.

went shopping at Ewah earlier on..
i love the shops and stuffs there!
and there is this 'Singapore Kaya Toast' cafe.. so homely... bt didnt go.. haha!
not tt miss kaya yet, but i seriously miss prata already!

we went jimjibang to stay over.. Dragon Hill Spa..

this is so call their high class jimjibang... 12000W...
consider ex... but i think is ok, cos moreover u can still enjoy their facilities like sauna and spa... and its whole night

this is our first experience there... other den wat we saw in the drama..
our first EYE OPENING too...
they first ting we saw when we enter the women level is naked bodies.....
we asked for changing room, but dun exist..
so funny... u can see wat sorts of figures walking naked in front of u...
ppl wouldnt care whether u r naked or not too! u will only look weird when u r still dressed!

haha! sauna? of cos is naked la~~~ wat an experience.. hahaa!

the smell of campus

has been here for 3 weeks plus.

already gotten used to the life here... no matter in dorm.. in lect or going out..
long travelling become a part of me.. walkin become a regular past time too...

the studying feel here is better than nus... i'm serious... reason still quite unknown...

pain diversion

wat a painful day.

went gamnam to walk around, den realised nothing much to walk.
ate issac toast, after eating felt like puking...
stomach ache.
went back and skipped my dinner.

very careless night.
went to get some water and ended up scalding myself...

damn pain... everything is painful.. almost screamed on the spot..
luckily i didnt
and i realised i don't even know how to sae 'help' in korean.
stoned there.. just stood there by myself..

i always say.. don't be too trusting to images..
looked high n low for med...
in the end.. i only found toothpaste...

almost scream in my dorm..

to keep me from thinking the pain...
i studied my korean, chatted online..

seems short, but feels long.

i like korea, their places, people, stuffs, food
but i dun know, something just feel so weird..
maybe the travelling? maybe my nasi lemak? maybe my douhua.... things holding me back?
oh crap...

esp when the truth strinks
i hate to carry shits, but when the limelight is on you
you got no choice.. carry the basket of shits n walk on.. cat walk! since gf always sae i look like a cat... now is my show.. i will run it well.

hostal life here...

have never tried staying in the school hostal before..

so now its my first time staying in the school hostal, moreover in a whole new different environment. can say that i am not so quite used to it at the beginning... and plus, my room mate haven arrive for the first few days of my stay. thus i need to sleep alone. ha! timid i know... but i am adapting ... hahahaa.. nothing much to doubt my adapting power... gemini... i can even sleep on the street if i am dead beat....

ok... hanyang uni is my sch, just in case

hanyang has 4 hostal, and i am staying in the smallest one... the toilet is patheticly small. shower curtain only, no door! and i really did c naked woman bathing at the sink area OUTSIDE the shower room, yes! i saw the butt...

luckily in the morning, i dun have my spects on. haha! bless me..... ^-^

after a week or so, i am ok with the toilet already, quite fun too.. cos i will not try it in sg.

i tried to make my room more like a room, so my friends and i went to the big supermarket nearby to buy all we need.. need stock up the food supply in the room, because i need to walk real long out when i'm in my dorm.

prof is a korean but her eng is good too, luckily, i am worrying i will not understand what the prof is teaching .. woot!
